Communication Style

Communication Style

People are different. We all have different styles of communication. Some people tend to use more visual words, some use more auditory words and some tend to describe their feelings (kinesthetic). Our software helps you find out your unique style and change it to match the communication style of the person you’re writing to.

IntenCheck monitors 4 types of communication style – visual, auditory, kinesthetic and rational.

Sincerity

Sincerity

Wouldn’t it be useful to know just how truthful you appear to be to others when they read the texts you’ve written? Or perhaps you’d like to know how sincere others appear to be just by looking at the words they use to communicate their message.  Our text analysis software lets you check texts on sincerity level. By analyzing the meaning of the words used to deliver the message, the software determines if the person who wrote the text was trying to hide facts or important information.

Attitude

Attitude

How useful would it be to have a way to check what kind of attitude is being communicated through the content of a text?
Semantic differential is a type of a rating scale designed to measure the connotative meaning of objects, events, and concepts. Our software uses this type of scale to determine the attitude of the author of a text towards the subject that is being written about.

IntenCheck uses 3 scales when analyzing the attitude: positive-negative, strong-weak and active-passive.

*Attitude analysis is only available in the IntenCheck Pro Version.

Timeline

Timeline

People perceive and are oriented in time in different ways. Some people seem trapped in the past, some always seem to live in the present moment while others are mostly oriented to the future. This means that a person naturally prefers to have their attention either in the past, present or future and this is also reflected in the way they communicate. When interacting with someone, understanding the way they are oriented in time helps build rapport and helps them understand your message more easily, since you are essentially delivering your message in a way that fits their mental time filters.

Our text analysis tool makes it easy to identify words which reflect how a person perceives and is oriented in time: either in the past, present or future.

*Timeline analysis is only available in the IntenCheck Pro Version.

Motivation

Motivation

Wouldn’t it be great if you knew how to motivate others better through the texts that you write?
With the help of IntenCheck’s motivation analysis category you can now take one step further to understanding better how people get motivated, and delivering your message in such a way that makes them naturally respond much better  to it.

People are usually motivated either by moving away from something that they don’t desire or by moving towards something that they want. This is a way to look at motivation which is similar to the Freudian psychology’s pleasure principle.  The pleasure principle is considered the driving force guiding a person and it states that people are instinctively seeking pleasure and avoiding pain.

Our software will help you take advantage of this and will allow you to become much more effective at motivating others through the language you use.

*Motivation analysis is only available in the IntenCheck Pro Version.

Perceptual Positions

Perceptual Positions

When you realize that people use different ways of looking at their experiences, you understand that there is a tremendous amount of potential for enhancing your communication.  We refer to these ways in terms of perceptual positions.

When you associate into your own body, you experience events in the first position, and this permits you to look at the world from your own viewpoint. The second position means that you “walk in other person’s shoes” and this means that you take into consideration how a communication or event would look, feel and sound from another person’s point of view. The third position offers a way of dissociating from the entire event or conversation and allows you to operate in an objective way. Lastly, the fourth position lets you adopt the perspective of the whole system (organization, company, etc.) so that you can consider what would be in the best interest of the system.

In communication it’s important to understand how a person communicates from the inside out, either from his own viewpoint or from other perceptual positions. When you know this, you can match his point of view on reality and interact in a much more effective way.

*Perceptual positions are only available in the IntenCheck Pro Version.
